It is simple; from Sun Salutations to balanced inversions, at times challenging, but ultimately refreshing and meditative. Energize with straightforward asana sequences to strengthen the metabolism and muscular stability. Find your transformation, from novice to experienced, and work at your own level of practice to create the kind of day you intend.
This class integrates intentional breath with gentle, fluid movement. Whether sitting or standing, we will utilize yoga chairs for support in adapted yoga asanas. Welcoming all ages and levels, this practice improves flexibility, mobility, balance, strength, and concentration. Chairs are available on a ‘first come, first-served’ basis.
Join us for a yin movement class which features guided gentle movement and lovely restorative poses. This class uses props and breathing techniques to assist in calming the central nervous system and relaxing the body. Yin yoga focuses on holding passive poses for longer periods of time at 70% capacity in order to lock the fascia and heal while gaining flexibility and greater mobility.
This class fuses the deepening of Yin postures with a lively Hatha flow. We’ll first “root” by finding stillness in postures to improve flexibility and increase joint circulation, and then we’ll “rise” through fluid, energetic asanas . . . the perfect combo for rejuvenating the mind, body, and spirit. All levels are welcome.
